Freelancers and Journalism Students Trip to the Herald Picket Line

Solidarity_CH_Workers.jpg

Writers, photographers and editors at the Chronicle Herald are on strike fighting for good journalism jobs and, honestly, journalism as a whole. On Wendesday February 3 Halifax-area freelancers and King's Journalism students will be showing our support for the striking workers with a trip to the picket line.

Reasons to support the striking workers (and cross the picket line) here:http://www.canadianfreelanceunion.ca/why_freelancers_should_refuse_work_from_the_herald_during_a_lockout

King's students meet at 2:00PM in the Wardroom to make sigins and travel together.

Freelancers are welcome to join us at 2:00PM at King's or on the picket line at 3:00PM. (The Wardroom is the student bar and is located down two flights of stairs in the Arts and Administration building, the building with the large pillars.)
