Join the Canadian Freelance Union to discuss how to resist the race to the bottom. As freelancers we often feel pressure to lower rates, which often means undercutting each other. How can we establish minimum standards for what is a basic rate of pay for work?
Also, have a first look at the CFU rate chart! This chart is a statistics backed tool which will guide freelancers as to the minimum rates they should be charging. We’ll also be looking for your feedback.
This online workshop will be hosted by CFU leaders to explore tactics that we can all use together to ensure decent pay for decent work.
No matter if you are paid by the hour, paid by the word, and paid by the project, this workshop will apply to you.
